Minnesota WildIt’s Wednesday Night Rivalry on NBCSN, which means there has to be an entertaining game on.

Blackhawks and Wild? Sure, the hockey world will take that. The Wild lead the Hawks in the Central Division standings by six points. These will be important points to take for both teams, so it should be a fun game for any hockey fan to watch.

The Chicago Blackhawks look to add a third game to their winning streak and catch up to the first place team in the Central Division, the Minnesota Wild, who are also on a two-game winning streak.

The Blackhawks last played in Dallas on Saturday, a hard-fought 5-3 win over the struggling Stars. Artemi Panarin, Artem Anisimov, and Marian Hossa all had two assists. Trevor van Riemsdyk scored the game-winning goal. Corey Crawford stopped 31 of 34 shots.

Corey Crawford is expected in net for the Hawks.

The Minnesota Wild are coming off of a 4-2 win against the Winnipeg Jets last night. Both Nino Niederreiter and Jason Pominville scored two goals. Pominville added two assists for a total of four points. Charlie Coyle tallied three assists. Devan Dubnyk stopped 38 0f 40 shots.

Darcy Kuemper will play the second half of a back-to-back for the Wild.

Expect this game to either be high-scoring, or a goalie duel. Both the Wild and the Hawks sit in the top 10 in the league in Goals per Game. However, Crawford is one of the best goalies in the NHL this season, and Kuemper is a great backup for the Wild. Don’t be surprised if this game is exciting. It’ll probably keep you on your toes throughout the night.
